IT was a glimpse into the future of fashion as the graduating students of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Fash-ion Design and Merchandising Program mounted their finale exhibit, “Sinulid: The Connotations of Design” at SM Aura Premiere.

Presented via pop up stores and conceptual styling, each student was able to showcase their personal brand that reflects their own aesthetic and design philosophy.

The Women’s Wear, Men’s Wear and Children’s Wear collections took inspiration from travel, reincarnation, geo-metric patterns, indigenous materials and personal experiences, including moments from the designers’ child-hood.

Themes of sustainability and functionality were also utilized for streetwear, formal wear, swimwear, sleepwear and even plus-size fashion.
