The inspiration of my collection is the series from HBO called Euphoria. Euphoria wasn’t actually my first choice, but then I had to revise my whole theme. And during that time, I was binge watching the show. The aesthetics and visuals of it is what appealed to me the most. I am in no way glamourizing the use of drugs and the people who have suffered under the influence. And despite my collection being influenced just by the aesthetics and the visuals, I realized that I should also incorporate the effects and consequences of feeling that euphoria high, especially when it is drug induced. A lot of details in my collection has meaning to it. I wanted to tell a story. How that euphoric feeling may feel as if you are on cloud 9 or that intense rush of happiness; it is actually a cry for help. How a person would do anything just to not feel the pain; to feel nothing but happiness. But to be happy in that way always has its consequences. How a person may feel like a prisoner to their own body. How it slowly kills every living soul inside of you.
