Hunyango is a Filipino term for chameleon. The collection is about the life story of the designer. She used the chameleon as a metaphor to tell her story. The designer made use of the chameleon’s color changing ability to project the emotions and experiences they felt during the journey. One misconception about the chameleon is that their color changing ability is not solely for camouflaging. They change their colors / skin to communicate to other predators or animals, also to show their emotions. Every look has its own story to tell. The collection consists of a wearable Avant-Garde, fusing different techniques and playing with technology.
