The design of the facemask is inspired by Taylor Swift’s 1989 album. The title’s named after her birth year which the music in that era has a 1980’s synth-pop sound that the singer-songwriter implemented in each of her songs.
The mask features an embroidered New York City Skyline and blur painting with sequined stitching to silhouette the 1989 logo including fun loom bands as backstraps. With the use of multiple bright colors to tune the emotional engagement through her songs to experience the life of Taylor Swift in New York.
I chose this record because it reminisces the time of “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” to “Take On Me” music. This is the album that travels you back to the 1980’s experience in style.
